Lisa is represented by RiverSea Gallery in Astoria; 'A Storied Past' Exhibition her first show with the Gallery

Lisa joins local Astoria artists Harry Bennett, Noel Thomas, Roger McKay and others in RiverSea's compendium of works with a historical thread, depicting the changing face and flavor of Astoria and the surrounding area over time. The show coincides with the Oregon Heritage Conference and Preservation Fair. The opening reception will start at 5 p.m. Saturday, April 9, during Astoria's Second Saturday Art Walk, with the works remaining on exhibit through May 3. I was in rage when i saw the low count of views by your works.!! Make me mad. Because your work deserve much more attention.Those paintings are patiently done.And i think it could be easily overlooked because of that.?. (not sure).More expressive way of paintig may be wanted?..

Eraserheado, Thank you so much for your feedback, and your caring and honest words. I love being expressive with patience. lol.I usually paint right after I do yoga, maybe that explains it. My style isn't for everyone I guess. Also I am not as active as some others on here, so I understand. On Facebook, I seem to be getting more feedback. Thanks again. You have some very interesting drawings and are an inspiration!
I will check out that gallery now.

Expressive with patience you say...How that goes together :I
Yoga before painting,if it's true so it certainly affect your paintings. That could be something like secret ingredient.Not much painter myself but i have don few and usualy drunk.Sometimes fell asleep at the end of work or during.Have to puke once and once i woke up in the middle of the night to the finish painting and have to vomit suddenly from balcony, true story.I should definitely try Yoga.
